PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES
Bakleang obtained his Master Degree in Comparative Law and Political Science in Japanese language from Nagoya University in Japan under the prestigious Japanese government scholarship, commonly known as MEXT scholarship. He has worked at a highly regarded multi-service and leading law firm in Cambodia as a legal advisor attached to the law firm’s Japan Desk, while also providing assistance to the Real Estate and Construction, Banking and Finance, and Energy and Infrastructure practice groups from time to time. He has further served in a regional law firm based in Cambodia in its legal team as its Japan Desk Manager to support and provide full assistance to Japanese companies and investors, among others, in legal and tax-related matters.
He has an extensive experience in a broad range of matters including corporate commercial, labor and employment, real estate, construction, capital market, trust, and taxation. He speaks Khmer, Japanese and English.
