Legal Compliance Alert: Delay in 2021 Work Permit Renewal
Issue: No. 017P/21 –29 March 2021
Due to the pandemic of Covid-19 and 20 February community outbreak, many foreigners with 2020 work permit has not returned to Cambodia. In response to this matter, MLVT has issued an Notification No.013/21 dated 26 March 2021 to notice owner/employer of
establishment/enterprise that the application for delay of foreign work permit/employment card in 2021 has been delay. This include the following:
New Deadline | : | Until 31 May 2021 |
Description | : | Pursuant to this notification there is not imposing fine on foreigner(s) who has 2020 foreign work permit/employment card. New foreigner(s) who come to work or invest in Cambodia shall duly complete document(s) as required by law. |
