Legal Update: Prakas No.154 DNS/PrK on the Launch of Continuously Operating Reference Stations (CORS)

On 27 October 2022, the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction (the “MLMUPC”) issued Prakas No.154 DNS/PrK on the Launch of Continuously Operating Reference Stations (CORS) (the “Prakas”).
This Prakas has announced the launch of Continuously Operating Reference Stations (CORS) in 5 capital and provinces which include Phnom Penh, Kandal, Kampong Speu, Siem Reap, and Stung Treng in the purpose of serving the land measurement, base map/data acquisition, construction of physical infrastructure, construction quality control, construction of telecommunication network, smart city planning, and other related works.
The person who wishes to obtain the piloted right of use the Continuously Operating Reference Stations (CORS) shall submit the application form to the MLMUPC. The piloted right of use is valid in 01 (one) year from October 27, 2022 to October 26, 2023.
