Legal Update: Notification on Granting Certificate of Occupancy for Factory and Warehouse
Issue: No. 005P/23– 23 March 2023
On 22 March 2023, the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction (the “MLMUPC”) issued Notification No. 001 DNS/Khud/SChN on Granting Certificate of Occupancy for Factory and Warehouse (the “Notification”).
This Notification aims to inform all factories or warehouses owners that in accordance with Prakas No. 177 DNS/Prk dated 06 December 2019 on the Formality and Procedure for Granting Certificate of Occupancy for any buildings completed before the law on construction 2019 came into force, the factories or warehouses owners who have not applied for a closing permit/certificate of occupancy, may submit the application by attaching relevant required documents to apply for the certificate of occupancy at the One Window One Service of the MLMUPC. The working group of the MLMUPC will assist the factories or warehouses owners in reviewing and pursuing the process.
