Following the Ministry of Commerce\u2019s Regulation No. 300 dated 29 December 2015<\/a>, all companies, enterprises, branches, representative offices, affiliates or agents which had registered their businesses before the 4th of January 2016<\/u><\/strong> shall re-register their business through the Ministry of Commerce\u2019s automated business registration system via www.businessregistration.moc.gov.kh<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under above regulation, employers shall re-register their business in the automated system before 31 December 2018. However, this deadline has been extended until  31 December 2019<\/u><\/strong> according to Notification No.0384 dated 30 January 2019<\/a> of the Ministry of Commerce which will provide more time for companies to re-registered their business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to re-register, companies shall have an account and fill-in required information and documents by the Ministry. It should be noted that Annual Declaration of Company for the year 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 are among the needed documents. Failure to apply for such documents in the previous year, will lead to penalties, and employers are required to pay back the fee for the year(s) that they did not apply for it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
