{"id":506,"date":"2019-11-18T01:44:00","date_gmt":"2019-11-18T01:44:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sithisak-lawoffice.com\/?post_type=resource-legals-news&#038;p=506"},"modified":"2025-07-23T04:33:00","modified_gmt":"2025-07-23T04:33:00","slug":"construction-law","status":"publish","type":"resource-legals-news","link":"https:\/\/sithisak-lawoffice.com\/ja\/resource-legals-news\/construction-law\/","title":{"rendered":"Construction Law"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Law on Construction is promulgated by Royal Decree \u2116 NS\/RKM\/1119\/019 on 02 November 2019 (\u201c<strong>Construction Law<\/strong>\u201d) with an aim to determine the principles, building technical regulations, rules, and procedures in managing construction sector in Cambodia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This Construction Law contains herein essential stipulations on&nbsp;<strong>(i)<\/strong>&nbsp;building technical regulations,&nbsp;<strong>(ii)<\/strong>&nbsp;the management of construction professional, its professional practice, and business,&nbsp;<strong>(iii)<\/strong>&nbsp;the use of construction materials, equipment, product, and laboratory,&nbsp;<strong>(iv)<\/strong>&nbsp;construction, reparation, or demolition permit,&nbsp;<strong>(v)<\/strong>&nbsp;design document management,&nbsp;<strong>(vi)<\/strong>&nbsp;the use of the building and dangerous building,&nbsp;<strong>(vii)<\/strong>&nbsp;construction inspection,&nbsp;<strong>(viii)<\/strong>&nbsp;construction or demolition contract and insurance,&nbsp;<strong>(ix)<\/strong>&nbsp;responsibility of any person relevant to construction, and&nbsp;<strong>(x)<\/strong>&nbsp;dispute settlement in construction sector and penalty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, this Construction Law has set out five main principles to every construction work which is to protect public interests and individual\u2019s rights;
