As a measure to prevent and control the spread of Covid-19, the Royal Government of Cambodia has decided to postpone the public holidays for Khmer New Year from 13th<\/sup> to 16th<\/sup> April 2020<\/u><\/strong> for all public and private sectors. Under the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training (\u201cMLVT<\/strong>\u201d)\u2019s notification No.012\/20 dated 07 April 2020, the government will compensate workers in private sector with a five (5) days holidays<\/u><\/strong> at an appropriate time. The MLVT will issue a new notification of the compensatory holidays once the exact date has been set by the Royal Government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
