{"id":576,"date":"2022-06-21T08:23:00","date_gmt":"2022-06-21T08:23:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sithisak-lawoffice.com\/?post_type=resource-legals-news&#038;p=576"},"modified":"2025-07-23T01:31:51","modified_gmt":"2025-07-23T01:31:51","slug":"legal-update-reformation-of-the-formula-for-registering-immovable-property-as-a-spouses-separate-property","status":"publish","type":"resource-legals-news","link":"https:\/\/sithisak-lawoffice.com\/km-kh\/resource-legals-news\/legal-update-reformation-of-the-formula-for-registering-immovable-property-as-a-spouses-separate-property\/","title":{"rendered":"Legal Update: Reformation of the Formula for Registering Immovable Property as a Spouse\u2019s Separate Property"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><em>Issue: No.<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>009<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>&nbsp;\/22 \u2013 21 June 2022<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 06 June 2022, the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction (the \u201cMinistry\u201d) has issued a Letter No. 1391 DNS\/OSDP to the Director of Provincial and Municipal Department of Land Management, Urban Planning, Construction and Cadastre on the Reformation of the Formula for Registering Immovable Property as a Spouse\u2019s Separate Property because of the death of another spouse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, the Ministry reform the existing formula to the new formula as an example below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><tbody><tr><td>1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 If the husband\u2019s separate property, example, Sok San (widower of corpse Chan Ratana)<br>2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 If the wife\u2019s separate property, example, Chan Ratana (widow of corpse Sok San)<br>3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 If the husband\u2019s separate property, example, Sok San (widower from deceased Chan Ratana)<br>4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 If the wife\u2019s separate property, example, Chan Ratana (widow from deceased Sok San)<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The purpose of modifying the formulation in registering immovable property as a separate property in the condition of Widower or Widow caused by the spouse\u2019s death is to unify between previous and current civil code.
