Issue: No. 011P/24 – 09 October 2024

The Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training Prakas 026, dated 11^th September 2024 announces the requesting period for usage of foreign workforce for the year 2025.

All enterprise’s owners that are currently using foreign workforce that is under the governance of Labour Law of Kingdom of Cambodia shall file the request to use its foreign workforce for the year 2025 here forth via the Foreign Workers Centralized Management System (FWCMS) webpage: www.fwcms.mlvt.gov.kh. Newly established enterprises that needs to use foreign workers after the period shall make request for the use of foreign workforce immediately after the operation of its enterprise.

The requesting period starts from 01^st September 2025 until 30^th November 2024.

Penalty

The enterprise’s owner whom have not file its request during the period above will face immediate penalty by the labour inspector.

Enterprise’s owner whom uses foreign workforce without the appropriate approval letter is constituted as in breach of Labour Law and will be penalize in accordance to Chapter 16 of Labour Law of Kingdom of Cambodia.
