1. Notification No. 2271 dated 22 May 2020: The Use of Sign to Identify Food Product Having Free Sales Certificate and Health Certificate of Food Product.

On 22 May, 2020, Ministry of Health has issued the notification on the use of the sign to identify the food product having obtained Free Sales Certificate and Health Certificate of Food Product according to which all company, handicraft enterprise, and factory manufacturing food products is required to stick the sign identifying the quality and safety on every food product having obtained Free Sales Certificate and Health Certificate of Food Product issued by Ministry of Health. This notification will take effect from July 2020 onwards.

2.Notification No. 2272 dated 22 May 2020: Translation of Packaging and Label of Food Products to Khmer Language

Ministry of Health has issued on 22 May, 2020, the notification No. 2272 dated 22 May, 2020 on translation of the packaging and label of food products to Khmer language, to strengthen hygiene and safety of food products, and to reinforce the implementation of the Prakas No. 649.

In applying the Free Sales Certificate and Health Certificate of Food Product, all company, handicraft enterprise, and factory manufacturing food product is required to translate the packaging or label of food products into Khmer language. This notification will take effect from July 2020 onwards.
