PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES 

Dr. Limchheang is an experienced legal professional with a Doctorate in Law from France and over seven years of expertise in real estate transactions and the construction sector in Cambodia. He currently leads the Real Estate & Construction Practice Group. Dr. Limchheang specializes in advising local and international clients on the acquisition, disposal, and leasing of residential, industrial, and commercial properties, as well as resolving complex land disputes. His areas of expertise include commercial leases, factory perpetual leases, real estate joint ventures, FIDIC agreements, and tax advisory.  

He speaks Khmer, English and French.

REMARKABLE PROJECTS 

• He has advised on both real estate and tax issues for a real estate development project with an approximate investment portfolio of USD 40 million in Kampot Province;  
• He led the counsel for a major domestic company in their joint venture property development, with an investment portfolio of nearly USD 200 million in Phnom Penh;  
• He led the counsel for a Hydropower Plant Development Project, including various construction contracts valued at more than USD 300 million;  
• He provided tax advisory services to a company involved in a PPP project in the aviation industry; He led the counsel for a private equity M&A transaction of a factory valued at more than USD 30 million;  
• He led the counsel for the seller in a real property acquisition by a leading Thai listed company, valued at more than USD 15 million, for its subsidiary’s headquarters opening in Cambodia.
